Donations for Knoxville Fellowship Center
The SOS club is asking for your help in getting supplies for the Knoxville Fellowship Center. Supplies they currently need are: gallon and quart ziploc bags, liquid Anti-bacterial soap, batteries size AA and AAA, and light bulbs 60 watt. Your help in collecting supplies is greatly appreciated.

YAI Prom 2017
This years prom will be April 8, 2017 in the JROTC building. The theme is masquerade and tickets are $20.00. Gold cards get in free, and purple and white cards will recieve a $10.00 discount. Pictures will begin at 6:00pm and prom will end at 9:00pm.

Congratulations to FBLA State Winners
Congratulations to Allie Cooper and Courtney Taylor for placing 5th at the State FBLA Contest. Also a big congratulations to Olivia Tays and Andrew King they placed 1st and will be going to the Nationals this summer.

Birthday Bash for Sgt. York Family

The family of Sergeant Alvin C. York was recognized on the World War I Hero's birthday, December 13, 2016 during half-time of the YAI Lady Dragons' basketball game. York family members present were Sgt. York's three surviving children, (front row, left to right) Andrew Jackson (Andy) York, Betsy Ross York Lowery, and George Edward York, seated. Several other third and fourth generation members of the York family were also present. The York Family was also honored with a reception in the YAI Library prior to the game.
