TCAT Oneida/Huntsville Any senior enrolling at the TCAT in Oneida/Huntsville $500 Return to guidance office by May 4, 2018
Union Bank Scholarship Any Senior $2,000 x 4 years Complete the online application by May 7th, 2018.
Clay and Ineta Wright Scholarship Any Senior enrolling in a Technical School (TCAT type school) $500 Application must be completed and turned in to the Counselors Office by May 4, 2018.
Fentress County Retired Teachers Scholarship Students going into an education major $1,000 Return to guidance office by April 30th, 2018.
Fentress County Farm Bureau Any senior $500 Due to YAI Guidance Office by April 11, 2018
Jamestown Regional Medical Center Any Senior with Health Sciences Major $1,000 Due to YAI Guidance Office by April 20, 2018
TCAT High School Scholarship Desires to attend TCAT, has minimum hishschool average of "B" or equivalant, and plans on enrolling full-time by fall trimester 2018. Amount will be determined by the financial aid commitee April 20, 2018
TACD Agriculture Majors at a Tennessee school. $600 Due in YAI Guidance Office by February 1, 2018
TACD Auxiliary Agriculture Majors, including Forestry, or Veterinarian, etc, at a Tennessee school. $600 Must be mailed before February 1, 2018
Fentress County Historical Society Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Must be planning to obtain a 4 year degree. Priority given to HIstory or Social Studies students. $500 Must be received bu the scholarship committee by March 1, 2018
Twin Lakes(Foundation for Rural Service) Must attend a 2 year or 4 year college or TCAT. Ask Mrs. Brown or Mr. Beaty about additional application directions. $1,500 or more Postmarked by March 1, 2018
Rex Hitchcock Memorial Scholarship Any Senior can apply. Student must hand deliver scholarship application to the Bank of Fentress County. Letter of recommendation can be hand delivered by school counselor. $2,000 Due to the Bank of Fentress County by March 1, 2018
VEC Lillard-Shadow Must attend a 2 year or 4 year degree granting school in Tennessee. Must study business, education, science/math/medicine, agriculture, or technology. Ask Mrs. Brown or Mr. Beaty about additional application directions. $2,000 Must be received in the VEC Decatur office by 5:00 pm on March 4, 2018.
TCAT Livingston Any senior enrolling at the TCAT in Livingston Book/Supply Cost Return to guidance office by March 31, 2018

High School End of Course examinations are given in English I, II, III, Algebra I, II, Geometry, U.S. History, Biology I, and Chemistry. The results of these examinations will be factored into the student's grade at a percentage determined by the State Board of Education in accordance with T.C.A. §49-1-302 (2).

Writing Assessment
TCAP Writing Assessment (TCAP/WA) emphasizes the importance of reading and comprehending complex texts and writing in response to sources in order to prepare students for post-secondary education and careers.
ACT/PLAN
ACT Plan, and the ACT measure students' progressive development of knowledge and skills in the same academic areas from grades 10 through 12. Therefore, the scores from these three programs can help educators monitor students' academic growth over time.

Testing Schedule
Please look over the following schedule. If you have any questions, please contact Tonya Brown. This will be the least distribution for the entire school. Details of the teacher testing where will be put out in a few days but all students will test in their block time in that classroom.
